Best Juicer!
There are two types of juicer on the market; cold press and centrifugal. The gentle, slow-turning action of a cold-press juicer produces a greater quantity of juice, which retains more vitamins, minerals, enzymes and fibre than the juice produces from centrifugal juicers. The high speed of centrifugal juicers heat up the juice, allow air to enter and damage some of the perishable nutrients.
Other advantages of non-centrifugal or cold press juicer:
- The juice will last longer and contain more enzymes and nutrients than juice from a centrifugal juicer
- They produce a greater quantity of juice and a higher quality juice
- They have fewer parts and are easier to clean
- They are much quieter than centrifugal juicers
- Most can juice green vegetables, wheatgrass and herbs
- Some double as a living food processor and you can make pasta, nut butter, baby foods, gourmet dips and even ice cream!
- Often their warranties are longer than centrifugal juicers
