‘Cabala Juicer Champion’ Competition

The latest post was about me making Cabala Juice in 16 minutes and 27 seconds. This included cutting cup the ingredients. I’m not sure how long you spend preparing and cooking food on a non-juice cleanse day but I’m predicting it is much more than 16 minutes and 27 seconds!

What are you going to do will all this extra time?

This got me thinking how cool it would be to run a competition to see who can make Cabala Juice in the least amount of time!

So the following competition has been born…

‘Cabala Juicer Champion’

How to play:

• Time how long it takes you to make your daily dose of Calaba Juice.
  
• Wash the ingredients, set up juicer, have chopping board and knife ready to go before starting the timer.
  
• Start the timer and start chopping (please be careful, I’m not covered for case of the missing finger!)
  
• Finish timer once all the ingredients have been juiced and you have your daily dose of Cabala
  
• This competition ends on Day 3 (Monday 31^st August at midnight)
  

The daily does of Calaba is approximately 2 litres per person, per day. The amount of juice you extract from the quantity of fruit and vegetables in the recipe will vary depending on the type of juicer you have. Cold Press action juicers extract more juice then centrifugal juicers. Please refer to ‘Juicers’ section of this website for more information.

Given the “big mouth feeders” of centrifugal juicers provides a distinct advantage over the smaller mouth of a cold press juicer there are going to be two categories for the ‘Cabala Juicer Champion’ competition. ‘Cenrifugal Juicer’ and ‘Cold Press Juicer’

So when you send through your results please specify if you have used a ‘Centrifugal’ of ‘Cold Press’ juicer.

The prize for both categories will be… drum roll please… a supply of ‘Emergency Meal’!!!

The ‘Emergency Meal’ otherwise know as ‘Sacred Meal’ will be posted to you on Day 4 (Tuesday 1^st September) of the ’14 Day Juice Cleanse Challenge’.
